Is the book on your truck the one Texas tests you on?

What stands behind this, and what does not It is not the same for every row, so here it is plainly. The rows that name a whole article as new, deleted or renumbered were checked against the 2026 article list and the published change summaries for this cycle, and then against the 2023 list as well, so that an article which arrived in 2023 is not sold to you as new. The rows that name a section are the weaker claim. Some were read in the 2026 book. Others are inferred from the way an article renumbered as a whole rather than read section by section, and any row resting on an inference says so in its own text. One section move we could not corroborate at all has been taken out rather than left here, and one row that turned out to describe a change already printed in the 2023 book went with it. That gives you the 2023 to 2026 delta with reasonable confidence and nothing broader. It does not give us the 2017 to 2020 delta or the 2020 to 2023 delta, because we have not read those editions side by side. If your book is older than 2023, everything below still applies to you and there is more we have not mapped. That is a less satisfying answer than a complete one and it is the true one.
